"It was true passion for both of us, and it drove all operational procedures, to set KPIs and shaped subsequent strategic and technical directions"

Eugene Melnitsky and Aaron Goldstein, Founders

Genesis Electronics Recycling was founded in 2009 in response to a growing demand for responsible electronics recycling. Over the past 11 years, we have experienced explosive growth, beginning in a garage to expanding in a 65,000 sq. ft. state-of-the-art facility with a staff of 43 highly trained personnel.

Since Genesis's inception, the vision and end goal has been nothing less than a 100% Zero-Landfill policy. It was a true passion of the founders, and it drove all operational procedures, set KPIs and shaped subsequent strategic and technical directions.

A significant milestone was the decision to obtain R2 (Responsible Recycling) certification and ISO 14001 and ISO 18001, which we did in 2012 and have maintained ever since with annual third-party audits. We are also proud members of NAID (National Association for Information Destruction) and ISRI (Institute of Scrap Recycling Industries).

Today, Genesis Electronics Recycling serves more than 600 companies, representing major firms across a broad spectrum of industries. Last year alone we recycled more than 20 million pounds of e-waste, which was re-introduced back into the manufacturing stream instead of ending up in a landfill, saving energy and reducing pollution.

Our focus is to continue growing our presence and providing leading value transformation solutions:

Genesis's fully integrated e-waste and products recycling platform continues to grow as a standalone holistic program, and our IT Asset Management and Product Disposition Divisions.

We've built an advanced Manufactured Product and IT Assets Security Division, working closely with our customers' technology and security personnel to ensure 100% safety in technology-retirement processes. We ensure that no current or retired process, product, or technology can compromise your company's success.

At Genesis we continue to expand our capabilities and the scope of our Manufactured Product Lifecycle Management Division, which offers leading personalizedsolutions in brand protection, market retrieval, end-of-life management, and value recovery.

Genesis has a strong and growing presence in the IT assets lifecycle management space, with advanced customized solutions in value recovery, secure disposition, data destruction, and protection.
